Performance Management System (PMS)

The Performance Appraisal module is part of the Performance Management System (PMS) devised by Department of Human Resource Development & Strategy.

Registration to HR database is a must in order to become a valid employee of the Software and access / use it . Registered employees can become a part of the process only if he/she has joined the company on or before 1st October 2013 and has his or  her hierarchy defined in the system.

KRA Finalization
Key Result Areas are set activity derived out of short term objectives. KRAs should be focused and it should be SMART (Specific/ Measurable/ Achievable / Relevant & timer bound)

Please note KRA is a part of PMS (Performance Management System ) which is linked to Appraisal Process hence it is essential to finalize the KRAs for the year 2013 - 2014.

Mid Term Review
All who have finished the KRA finalization can participate in the Mid Term Review process. HRD and Strategy declares the start date of the process and the steps to finalize you KRAs are:

1) It starts with appraisee submitting their KRAs.
2) The KRA is forwarded to the concerned Rater for his ratings and review.
3) Appraisee can log in once again to view his Appraiser review and lastly choose to either agree or disagree with his appraiser review 
4) Appraiser logs in once again to input his confidential comments.
5) Reviewer gets access to the forms once the appraisee have submitted confidential comments. He reads the form and inputs once over all comment.
6) The Mid Term appraisal process ends with Reviewers comments.

Final Review
All who have finished Mid Term Review can participate in the Final Review process. HRD and Strategy declares the start date of the process and the steps to finalize you KRAs are:

1) It starts with Appraisee submitting their Self Review and Competency assessment.
2) The Appraisal Form is then forwarded to the concerned Rater for his KRA Review and Competency assessment.
3) Appraisee can log in once again to view his Appraiser review and lastly choose to either agree or disagree with his appraiser review
4) Appraiser logs in once again to input two Comments , one a non confidential comment and the other a confidential comment
5) Reviewer gets access to the forms once the Rater/(s) have submitted at Phase II He reads the form and inputs two comment, one a non confidential comment and the other a confidential comment to be viewed by the Raters only
6) The Final Review process ends with Reviewers comments. A Mail Alert in received by the Appraisee, and the Raters in the hierarchy intimating about the closer of the process.
7) Appraisee can log in at this stage to view his entire appraisal (baring the confidential portions) in a printable format . They are advised to take a print at this stage.

In case if there is two Raters:

1) It starts with appraisee submitting their Self Review and Competency assessment.
2) The Appraisal Form is then forwarded to first Rater for his KRA Review and Competency assessment.
3) Once first Rater submits the Appraisal Form is then forwarded to second Rater for his KRA Review and Competency assessment.
4) Appraisee can log in once again to view his Appraiser review and lastly choose to either agree or disagree with his appraiser review
5) Appraiser logs in once again to input two Comments , one a non confidential comment and the other a confidential comment. Once  Rater 1 finishes Rater 2 is logs in for his inputs.
6) Reviewer gets access to the forms once the Rater/(s) have submitted at Phase II He reads the form and inputs two comment, one a non confidential comment and the other a confidential comment to be viewed by the Raters only
7) The Final Review process ends with Reviewers comments. A Mail Alert in received by the Appraisee, and the Raters in the hierarchy intimating about the closer of the process.
8) Appraisee can log in at this stage to view his entire appraisal (baring the confidential portions) in a printable format . They are advised to take a print at this stage.


There would be some server maintenance during following time slots (daily)
        
 10.00 am - 10.15 am
         
So users are requested not to work on appraisals during this time.

Change in the Employee hierarchy is not entertained once the appraisal process starts HRD & Strategy logins to view MIS and get the printable version of the employee appraisal, MIS for ongoing Appraisal process
