Corporate India as Custodians of Art
Apeejay Trust co-sponsored a Study conducted by FICCI to understand the levels of cultural responsibility of Corporate India. The Survey drew responses from over 150 major Corporates in India and revealed that Corporates support various arts to serve the dual purpose of benefiting the communities in which they operate and to build their corporate reputation.
Remembering Swami Viveknanada
It has been our privilege and pleasure to be able to fund Music Festivals to mark the 147 and 148th Birth Anniversary celebrations of Swami Vivekananda.
Using Art to give wings to Children´s thoughts
Every year on Children´s Day, we organise drawing competitions at Anand Paul Children´s Libraries. These drawing competitions are meant to give an opportunity to talented, underprivileged kids to showcase their skills to the world.
Kolkata Blooms
The Annual Flower Show in Kolkata is co-funded by the Apeejay Trust and organised by the Agri Horticultural Society of India. We have supported them to put up this show and also increase the scale of the event, year-on-year.
Park Mansion Restoration
Park Mansion, the grand, nearly one century-old building, was given a major makeover in 2010. We started the renovation project for Park Mansion in 2008 in a phased manner, so that the completion could coincide with Apeejay Surrendra Group's centenary year.
